Consulting Editor needed at New Narratives

DEADLINE: AUGUST 4, 2025 — New Narratives is hiring an experienced Consulting Editor to work with its network of reporters and media partners across Liberia, Ghana, Nigeria, and The Gambia.
New Narratives is a media development organisation that supports leading journalists and media outlets in resource poor settings to produce impactful, independent journalism that drives social change.
The editor will provide editorial support, mentoring, and strategic guidance to strengthen high-impact investigative, solutions, and explanatory journalism for print, radio, digital, and television.
Applicants must have at least 8 years of experience in newsrooms with high standards of independent, objective, ethical journalism and fact checking.
The Consulting Editor must also have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English plus experience with audio/video content editing, among others.
