HOW TO APPLY: FG National Youth Confab 2025 for 36,000 Delegates
The Federal Government of Nigeria has officially opened the registration portal for the much-anticipated National Youth Conference, widely known as the Youth Confab. This bold initiative, defined by its youth-driven, inclusive, non-partisan, and transformational nature, is designed to put young Nigerians at the heart of national development.
At the launch event, the Honourable Minister described the Youth Confab not just as another gathering, but as a pivotal generational milestone. “This isn’t merely a conference,” he declared. “It’s a national awakening, a movement for change, and an urgent call to action. It’s a space where the youth will speak up, be heard, and lead the way forward.”
The platform is open to young Nigerians from all 774 local government areas and those in the diaspora. A total of 36,000 participants are expected to register, with representation drawn from the 360 federal constituencies.
According to the Minister of State, Youth Development, Ayodele Olusanya, “The youth confab is a platform established by the Nigerian government as a structured avenue for young people to contribute to national discussions and policy formulation in a way that ensures their ideas translate into action.”
The conference is targeting Nigerians between the ages of 18 and 35, with 10% of participants allowed to be between 35 and 40 years old. Eligible individuals include students, entrepreneurs, creatives, young professionals, community leaders, and diaspora youth.
Interested Nigerians can now register as delegates to attend the conference sessions or as observers representing organizations. In addition, participants are encouraged to submit their policy proposals for national consideration.
